Get Involved

Our Opportunities

From primary school through to adulthood, we provide the UK Jewish community with opportunities to learn, campaign, volunteer and get involved in reducing extreme poverty. At Tzedek, we offer an ongoing journey with multiple opportunities to engage and work with us in the UK and overseas.

Walk to your school for just one morning a year in solidarity with thousands of students in Ghana and India who walk for miles each day to receive the their education, needed to lift themselves out of extreme poverty. Schlep to school to raise awareness and fundraise to support Tzedek’s work empowering local communities overseas.
We invite 14-17 year-olds to join our Tzedek team for a week of work experience in the summer term. Join our busy office and gain an insight into the world of International Development.
Tzedek offers 6 weeks to 3-month internships for those who are passionate about international development and looking for hands-on projects. Work with the Tzedek team to learn about, and contribute to, our work.
Tzedek is the official partner of the Office of the Chief Rabbi on the Ben Azzai Programme, which aims to inspire a new generation of outward-facing, socially aware young Jews and provides a fascinating and experiential opportunity to learn first-hand the challenges of extreme poverty and international development while on the ground in Ghana or India.
Young Tzedek is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated group of the UK’s young Jewish leaders to support our work as Tzedek ambassadors. Raise awareness, put on a fundraiser and develop your leadership skills while learning about Tzedek’s work overseas and engaging in the field international development.
Join the Overseas Project Team (OPT) which operates our sustainable Partnership Project Grants scheme, supporting grassroots projects that improve the incomes and economic opportunities of poor and marginalised people in the developing world.
Go Develop is a unique opportunity for skilled adults to work with our partners in the field, empowering communities and developing projects, and the perfect way to act on your Jewish values and actively pursue Tikkun Olam.
