Seeing Tzedek’s advertisement for an International Development Intern, I considered it a great opportunity to have useful hands-on experience to complement my studies and interest in International Development. I found Tzedek an ideal place to intern as I felt my impact could be felt, as it was not such a large organisation.
Serving as an intern in Educational Department afforded me the opportunity to review the Twinning Programme between UK and Ghanaian Schools, which I thoroughly enjoyed. Tasks are usually not repetitive and monotonous; but engaging and exciting.
There is a never a dull moment at work for someone willing to learn as there is almost always a skill or knowledge to pick up that will be useful for career progression and for life in general.
I have enjoyed every bit of the internship and would indeed recommend Tzedek to anyone looking for relevant experience in the third sector. There is nothing more enjoyable at work than working with committed, supportive and genuinely passionate people in a warm environment. It’s worth the while!
Obaa interned with Tzedek throughout September and October 2015. If you’re interested in joining the Tzedek team as an intern, get in touch with your CV and a cover letter.
