Our Team

Kira moved from Canada to London in 2017, where she worked as a Jewish communal professional for more than ten years. She has spent her career developing student leaders through BBYO, Hillel, and Jewish summer camp, both in frontline youth roles and as senior management. Kira has held many lay positions on committees throughout Canada and the UK, advising on issues involving youth, community relations, and interfaith engagement.

Leslie joined the team in 2019, and deals with Tzedek’s finances. Leslie says: “After 30 years working in the City I wanted to do something of value and to put something back into the community. Tzedek is the ideal way to do that – it supports great causes and the team has been warm and welcoming”.

Inbal joined the team in Sep 2018, bringing experience in operations and administration roles from various businesses in Tel Aviv and London. After completing her studies in Media and Management in Israel, Inbal relocated to London 10 years ago, and is the proud mom of 2 boys .

Leanne joins Tzedek after completing a Masters in Education, Gender and International Development at UCL. She’s worked in education for several years, and previously spent 6 months in Northern Ghana promoting girls’ education. Her role at Tzedek allowed her to combine all her passions for education, working with women and girls, and development in her day to day work.

Jake joined Tzedek a year ago and comes with a background in informal Jewish education, particularly in after-school programmes and summer camps. Jake studied politics at university and has experience volunteering in rural Malawi, working on an educational enrichment programme, and in Southern India, focusing on water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) through advocacy and education.

Deetza joined Tzedek after getting to know our work through a summer internship. She previously spent a year in Rwanda working at the Agahozo-Shalom Youth Village, through the Pears Foundation and the JDC. Deetza studied Philosophy at the University of Leeds and has experience working with local partners and in the field of youth development
