Investing in future leaders is key to ensuring the long-term alleviation of global poverty.
Many of our focus communities suffer from high youth unemployment and school dropout rates, so our programmes work to keep young people in education and train them in areas of high local demand, in turn also reducing cases of forced marriage.
We train youth groups to contribute to civil society through community projects and engagement with local democratic processes. We deliver youth entrepreneurship training and other skills and vocational trainings, developing emerging leaders to support themselves and drive societal change.
In the UK, we are building our Jewish community’s own sense of global social responsibility. We educate young people about global injustice and poverty, inspiring action and a generation of change-makers.
