We work with 26 primary schools in London and Tamale, Ghana. There are eight lessons throughout the academic year and five pieces of work are exchanged. We created a curriculum that works with the UK and Ghanaian national curriculum for Year 4 children. We train teachers, provide lessons plans and activity sheets, and we also run teacher networking sessions.
The programme aims to breakdown stereotypes and to turn students into global citizens. Through sharing views from their window, playground games, autobiography sheets and much more, students in both countries learn that, regardless of where they are growing up, children across the globe have more in common than they originally thought.
